I do not wanna Rock and Roll All Night...

Final four baby! And the theme is rock. I think this is a bit of a bummer. When you are down to the last four, I don't think there should be such a polarizing theme. But of course no one asked me. Slash from Guns n' Roses is serving as the guest mentor. He is apparently coming out with a solo CD, which answers Gary's question as to what he knows about vocals. Not sure about the week, but here goes!

It was good rock performance I suppose, but I am sooooo tired of hearing him scream. Seriously. Enough already. I a ready for Adam to go home. My ears hurt.



Cry Baby - Janis Joplin
She did alright. It was solid, but it wasn't the most memorable performance. That said, Allison is coming into her own. Kudos to her!

Come togehter - by Rolling Stars
He was quite the rocker. It has the rock influence but still the bluesy feel. I am proud of Kris. He was true to himself but still rockish and let's face it, adorable!



Dream On - Aerosmith
Surprised that Danny chose this song. He wants to perform. Let's see if his voice matches his desire. Lower register sounds good. Here comes the high note, "dream on!" He did it! Screaming, high note, etc. Showing that Adam isn't the only one who can do that! It was so not his thing, but he went for it.


Duet two:
Slow Ride - By Fog Hat.
Allison and Adam. I think this song is pretty easy (except on the game Rock Band. Ha!) They sound great together.


All in all tonight the rockers proved to be the rockers in their own realm. Kudos to them. Hard to say who will go home tonight. I am thinking Danny or Kris. Sad, I know. Should be Allison, but she is a rocker, so it won't happen.
